Ideal lock for renovations as it allows the transformation of the classic patent lock with 22x240mm front into a new magnetic type lock. In order to complete the transformation it is essential to also replace the striker (meeting/hook) with the specific magnetic one whose link you will find at the end of the listing.

Why choose a magnetic lock? Because it is much quieter, it closes by itself when the door is closed and there is no contact between the tongue and the latch during closing, it is also much simpler and therefore breaks less.

Please note: The lock tongue comes out automatically when the door is in the closed position. With the door open, even if you turn the key, the tongue does not come out (giving the impression of being defective as it is different from common locks). With the door closed, however, turning the key blocks the handle, preventing the door from opening. If the door does not close, the defect may be in the "latch" that has lost the magnet behind it or that it is misaligned or too far from the lock. If in doubt, contact us.
